Uses:Primarily used in organic synthesis and the pharmaceutical industry as a raw material for procaine hydrochloride, carbetapentane, caramiphen, and other drugs. Used as a solvent and absorber for removing acidic gases (e.g., hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide) from natural gas and refinery gas. Also used to manufacture rust inhibitors, antistatic agents, dyeing auxiliaries, lubricant additives, adhesives, emulsifiers, and widely applied as a catalyst and foaming agent for polyurethane foam and as a curing agent for synthetic resins.
