Uses:Used as an analytical reagent (e.g. for detection of sulfate ions) and dehydrating agent, and as an important raw material for preparing barium salts. It is widely applied in electronics, instrumentation, metallurgy and other industries, as well as in ceramics, pigments and water treatment.
