Uses:Used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, mainly for the preparation of 3-cyclopentylpropionic acid and its derivatives, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and other fine chemicals. Also used in acylation reactions to synthesize corresponding esters, amides and other compounds.
