Uses:1,4-Cyclohexanedimethanol is an important intermediate for the synthesis of saturated and unsaturated polyesters. Resins derived from it have a high glass transition temperature, good hardness and flexibility, as well as excellent thermal stability and weather resistance. It is widely used in the production of polyester fibers, polyester electrical appliances, unsaturated polyester resins, polyester enamels and polyurethane foams, and is also used to manufacture lubricants and hydraulic fluids.
