Uses:Used as the main reactive monomer for bismaleimide (BMI) resins, it can replace diphenylmethane-based bismaleimide monomer to prepare high-performance BMI resins. It is used for modification of allylated polyphenylene ether resins to improve the glass transition temperature and solvent resistance of high-frequency copper clad laminates while maintaining good dielectric properties. It is miscible with liquid epoxy resins for heat-resistance modification, and can also form eutectic mixtures with other bismaleimide monomers to prepare BMI resins.
