Stable in air, combustible when exposed to open flame.
Uses:Mainly used as an organic synthesis intermediate for the preparation of pyridine-containing pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and fine chemicals. It can also serve as an aryl bromide substrate in transition-metal-catalyzed coupling reactions to construct multi-substituted pyridine derivatives.
