Physical Properties:White to pale yellow high-melting-point waxy solid. It exhibits lubricating, dispersing, brightening, mold-release, smoothing, anti-blocking and antistatic effects, and has excellent coupling ability and dispersibility for pigments and fillers. Insoluble in water and most solvents at room temperature; soluble in hot high-boiling-point solvents such as xylene, chloroform and butanol.
Uses:Widely used as a lubricant and dispersant in plastics, rubber and chemical fiber industries. Powder form (125 mesh) is used as a dispersant for plastic masterbatches and fiber masterbatches, a brightening dispersant for inorganic fillers and flame-retardant materials, and a lubricant for modified materials such as ABS. Fine powder form (325 mesh) is used as a diffusion powder for pigment color matching, and as a modifier and dispersant for ultrafine powders to improve product brilliance, gloss and processing efficiency.
