Uses:Used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of anthelmintics, antituberculosis drugs, norfloxacin and other medicines. Acts as a catalyst or reactant in organic synthesis to construct complex molecules. Industrially employed as an organic solvent and surfactant.
