Physical Properties:Transparent viscous liquid with good oil solubility. Density (20°C) approx. 0.98 g/cm³, kinematic viscosity (100°C) approx. 68 mm²/s, open flash point above 90°C, acid value approx. 345 mgKOH/g. It shows relatively poor antitrust performance on lead and cast iron.
Uses:This product is an oil-soluble rust inhibitor that forms a firm oil film on metal surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion. It is used in the formulation of turbine oils, machine tool oils, hydraulic oils, hydraulic transmission fluids, rust-preventive greases, etc., with a recommended dosage of 0.02%–0.5%.
