Melting point -49°C, boiling point 197-200°C, relative density 0.8428 (20/4°C), refractive index 1.4540, flash point 85°C. Vapor pressure 0.3 hPa (20°C), acidity coefficient (pKa) 10.55±0.10. Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and benzene; insoluble in water (solubility 0.004 g/L).
Uses:Used as a polymerization regulator and vulcanization regulator in the production of synthetic rubber, and also used in the production of rubber additives, pharmaceuticals, dyes and pesticides. It can also be used as a stabilizer for surfactants and resins.
