Uses:Mainly used as an antihyperglycemic agent for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, either alone or in combination with other antidiabetic drugs. It improves glycemic control by enhancing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization and reducing hepatic glucose output.
