Uses:Zirconium silicide is a zirconium-silicon intermetallic compound with high hardness, high melting point, high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance and good corrosion resistance. It can form a solid passivation oxide layer on the surface at high temperatures, providing high-temperature oxidation resistance, and can be used as a structural material or new engineering material for high-temperature corrosive media. It is specifically used as lubricating material, wear-resistant material, semiconductor thin film, electronic material and ceramic material; as a deoxidizer in steelmaking to remove oxygen from molten steel, and also to remove impurities such as sulfur and nitrogen; as fine ceramic raw material powder for crucibles used in semiconductor thin film production; and as an alloy additive.
