Thermally stable, resistant to decomposition under weakly alkaline conditions, and no discoloration when in contact with metal ions.
Uses:Primarily used as a food antioxidant to effectively inhibit oxidative rancidity of oils and fatty foods, thereby delaying spoilage; suitable for frying and baking processes. Also widely applied in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and feed industries as a lipophilic antioxidant to stabilize oil and fat components. The maximum dosage in food is 0.2 g/kg calculated on the fat content.
