- 浅绿色至橙黄色红绒毛状粉末，微有苦味，对光敏感。1g产品溶于150g 95%乙醇、200g乙醚，溶于稀矿酸，极微溶于水，几乎不溶于氯仿。熔点195~196℃，202℃分解。有毒，刺激皮肤，可引起皮炎、荨麻疹、皮肤变褐、甲状腺机能减退、食欲减退、恶心、呕吐等。

Physical Properties:Light green to orange-yellow red fluff powder, slightly bitter, sensitive to light. 1 g dissolves in 150 g of 95% ethanol or 200 g of ether, soluble in dilute mineral acids, very slightly soluble in water, almost insoluble in chloroform. Melting point 195~196°C, decomposes at 202°C. Toxic, irritates skin, may cause dermatitis, urticaria, brown discoloration of skin, hypothyroidism, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, etc.
Uses:Used as an important intermediate in the preparation of azo heterocyclic dyes such as Disperse Violet 96 and Disperse Blue 106, and as one of the intermediates for the new antiparasitic drug nitazoxanide.
