Physical Properties:White crystalline powder, odorless, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. It has excellent flame retardancy and thermal stability, and decomposes to produce non-flammable gases when heated, which helps suppress flames.
Uses:Mainly used as a flame retardant for polymer materials, especially as a charring and blowing agent in intumescent fire-retardant coatings. It is also widely used for flame-retardant treatment of textiles, wood, paper and other combustible materials, providing self-extinguishing properties to the substrate.
