Physical Properties:Dark brown powder, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid forming a dark-colored solution. Forms a leuco compound in alkaline sodium hydrosulfite reducing solution with affinity for fibers. Good heat resistance, not easily decomposed at high temperatures.
Uses:Mainly used for dyeing and printing of cellulose fibers such as cotton, linen, and viscose, as well as for dyeing polyester/cotton blended fabrics. The dye produces a deep brown shade with excellent color fastness, outstanding light fastness, washing fastness, and chlorine bleaching resistance, suitable for dyeing of mid-to-high-grade textile products.
