Physical Properties:Dark red to reddish-brown powder. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone; with concentrated sulfuric acid it gives a dark red solution that turns orange-brown upon dilution. It has good dispersibility and thermal stability.
Uses:Used as a disperse dye for high-temperature high-pressure dyeing and thermosol dyeing of polyester and its blends; also suitable for dyeing acetate and nylon fibers. It gives bright shades with good build-up and levelness, and can be used in printing and combination dyeing.
