Density 0.855-0.865 g/cm³ at 25°C, freezing point 18-20°C, boiling point 220°C at 25 mmHg, flash point 187°C, refractive index 1.442 at 25°C, viscosity 7 mPa·s at 25°C. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents.
Uses:This product is used as a cold-resistant plasticizer for PVC, widely applied in transparent soft sheets, cable materials, artificial leather and calender films; and as an internal lubricant for PVC sheets, plates, pipes, pipe fittings, profiles and bottle pellets. It also serves as a plasticizer for nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose, improving the gloss, water resistance and scratch resistance of coatings. It can also be used as a lubricant and mold release agent for resin processing, as well as a lubricant, waterproofing agent for metals and textiles, and a moisturizer in cosmetics.
