Uses:Abemaciclib is a selective cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitor that prevents tumor cells from progressing from the G1 to S phase by inhibiting CDK4/6 activity, thereby suppressing tumor cell proliferation. It is clinically used for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative (HR+/HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer, either as monotherapy or in combination with fulvestrant or aromatase inhibitors.
