Uses:Used as a plasticizer for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, chlorinated rubber and PVC. Used as a solvent, defoaming agent and antistatic agent in coatings, adhesives and inks. Also serves as an extractant for rare earth elements and lithium, a solvent in nuclear fuel processing, and a flame retardant in aircraft hydraulic fluids.
