Soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, and dichloromethane; insoluble in water. With multifunctionality, it provides high crosslinking density after curing, and exhibits excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties.
Uses:Used as an active component (epoxy matrix resin) in high-performance epoxy resin systems, combined with amine or anhydride curing agents to produce high-temperature resistant composite materials, structural adhesives, and electronic encapsulation materials. It can also be used as a crosslinker to increase the glass transition temperature and thermal stability of epoxy systems.
