Physical Properties:Light yellow to yellow transparent liquid, soluble in water. Density at 20℃ is ≥1.15 g/cm³, pH of 1% aqueous solution is ≤2.0.
Uses:Used as a high-efficiency scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems, especially suitable for high hardness, high alkalinity, and high pH water. It exhibits excellent scale inhibition performance against calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and calcium sulfate, and effectively inhibits silica scale while stabilizing metal ions such as zinc, manganese, and iron. It is also applied in reverse osmosis membrane scale inhibition, oilfield water treatment, multi-stage flash evaporation systems, as well as a textile dyeing and papermaking additive (yellowing inhibitor), and can replace EDTA, DTPA, NTA, etc.
