The hydroxyethoxyethoxy segment improves substrate solubility and molecular flexibility, making it suitable for multi-step synthesis, pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemical manufacturing. It can also be used as an active intermediate for silane coupling agents or polyurethane modification.
