Uses:Phosphorus pentoxide is a strongly hygroscopic inorganic oxide, mainly used as a highly efficient desiccant for deep dehydration of gases and liquids, reducing moisture content to extremely low levels. It is also used in the production of high-purity phosphoric acid, phosphates and phosphate fertilizers, as a dehydrating agent in organic synthesis, and as a raw material for flame retardants and surfactants.
