The active vinyl double bonds render it highly susceptible to polymerization, and it is often used in conjunction with crosslinking agents.
Uses:Primarily used as a crosslinking monomer in the production of ion-exchange resins, and widely applied in the manufacture of plastics, coatings, adhesives, and rubber modification.
