Uses:Eprosartan is a non-biphenyl, non-tetrazole angiotensin II receptor antagonist that selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors, thereby lowering peripheral vascular resistance. It is used for the treatment of hypertension, either alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
