The azide group is sensitive to light and heat, so it should be stored sealed, protected from light and kept at low temperature.
Uses:It is mainly used for bioconjugation, drug delivery carrier modification and material surface functionalization. The terminal azide group can react with alkyne-containing compounds via click chemistry, and the amino group can undergo amidation or react with active esters for constructing PEGylated functional molecules and biological probes.
