Sparingly soluble in water (approximately 6.6 mg/L at 20°C), readily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, methanol and toluene. Thermally stable and resistant to decomposition under acidic or alkaline conditions.
Uses:Epoxiconazole is a broad-spectrum triazole fungicide that exerts its antifungal activity by inhibiting the C14-demethylase involved in ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes. It is mainly used on wheat, barley, rice, corn, soybean and other crops to control powdery mildew, rust, sheath blight, rice blast, leaf spot and other fungal diseases. It provides both protective and curative effects with long residual activity and can be applied by foliar spraying or seed treatment.
