Uses:Rifamycin S is a key biosynthetic intermediate of rifamycin antibiotics. It is mainly used to synthesize clinical anti-tuberculosis drugs such as rifamycin SV and rifampicin, and is also used to prepare other rifamycin derivatives and in antibiotic research.
