Uses:Irinotecan hydrochloride is a topoisomerase I inhibitor antitumor agent, mainly used in first-line and second-line chemotherapy for advanced colorectal cancer, as well as for small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, cervical cancer, and ovarian cancer. Its mechanism of action involves binding to the topoisomerase I-DNA complex, preventing the repair of DNA single-strand breaks and inducing tumor cell apoptosis.
