Uses:Sodium cyclamate is a widely used non-nutritive artificial sweetener, about 30 times sweeter than sucrose with a taste close to sucrose. It is not absorbed in the human body, provides no calories and does not promote tooth decay. It is often mixed with sodium saccharin (10:1) to mask the bitter aftertaste of saccharin. According to GB2760 regulations, it is used as a sweetening additive in soft drinks, ice cream, pastries, preserved fruits, pickled vegetables, sauces, prepared wines, biscuits, bread and other foods, with maximum usage levels of 0.65–8.0 g/kg depending on the food category.
