Uses:Malonic acid is an important organic synthesis intermediate, mainly used in the preparation of barbiturate drugs, fragrances and pesticide intermediates. It is also used as a polishing agent and complexing agent in the electroplating industry, as well as in the production of adhesives, resin crosslinking agents and analytical chemical reagents.
