Uses:Used as a phase transfer catalyst to promote the dissolution and reaction of inorganic salts in organic solvents. Widely applied in metal ion separation and recognition, molecular recognition and self-assembly research. Also used as an active substance in liquid membrane ion-selective electrodes and as a complexing reagent in organic synthesis.
