Uses:Used as an important intermediate for azo dyes, for the synthesis of various acid dyes and direct dyes. Also used as a chromogenic reagent and indicator in analytical chemistry for the detection of metal ions such as iron and titanium. It also has certain applications in the pharmaceutical industry.
