Uses:Pemetrexed disodium is an antifolate antineoplastic agent that inhibits thymidylate synthase, dihydrofolate reductase, and other folate-dependent enzymes, thereby interfering with purine and pyrimidine synthesis and suppressing tumor cell proliferation. It is clinically used for the treatment of malignant pleural mesothelioma and non-small cell lung cancer, often in combination with cisplatin.
