The P-Cl bond is reactive and easily substituted, allowing derivatization into various phosphazene compounds, with excellent resistance to acid, alkali and high temperature.
Uses:Used as a flame-retardant additive in lithium battery electrolytes to improve stability and reduce fire risk; in electronic materials for preparing high-purity silicon dioxide, thinning silicon wafers and photoresist cleaning agents; also serves as an intermediate in pharmaceutical and pesticide synthesis, and is used in metal surface treatment agents and the preparation of polymer flame retardants and antioxidants.
