Physical Properties:Colorless to light yellow transparent viscous liquid, readily soluble in water, insoluble in alcohols, ketones and other organic solvents. Density is about 1.30 g/cm³ at 20°C. It exhibits excellent resistance to acid, alkali, chlorine oxidation and high temperature, and is not easily hydrolyzed.
Uses:Used as a scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water, oilfield injection water and boiler water treatment systems, with excellent chelating and dispersing effects on calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate and other scales. It is also used as a metal ion chelating agent in textile printing and dyeing, papermaking and daily chemical industries.
