It is an oxidant, relatively stable under acidic conditions, and decomposes when exposed to alkali or high temperature.
Uses:It is a highly effective disinfectant and bactericide used in industrial circulating water treatment and disinfection of recreational water such as swimming pools, baths, SPA, and landscape water. It is also used for toilet disinfection and deodorization, fabric bleaching, disinfection of flowers and seeds in agriculture, aquaculture water disinfection, and fruit preservation.
