Uses:This product is a key monomer for the synthesis of high-performance fibers such as poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO), and is also used to prepare benzobisoxazole-type liquid crystalline polymers. Copolymerization with terephthalic acid yields thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers with excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability, widely applied in aerospace, protective materials and high-performance composite material fields.
