Uses:Used as a crosslinking agent in bioconjugation reactions, specifically binding to sulfhydryl groups on proteins, peptides or antibodies via the maleimide group for PEGylation modification. Also applied in the preparation of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), biosensors, and surface functionalization of nanomaterials.
