Melting point approx. 108-110°C, boiling point approx. 294°C, flash point approx. 220°C (estimated). Exhibits typical dicarboxylic acid reactivity, undergoing esterification, amidation, etc.
Uses:Used as an environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluids and as a raw material for synthetic rust preventives; free of nitrites. Also used in the production of nylon, polyamide resins, synthetic fragrance intermediates, high-grade lubricants and hot-melt adhesives.
