Uses:Used as a flavor enhancer and salt substitute. According to FAO/WHO, it can be used in broths and soups of convenience foods at a maximum level of 10 g/kg (alone or in combination with other glutamates and glutamic acid salts). It is also used in sodium-free seasonings and health foods.
