Physical Properties:A colorless to light yellow transparent oily liquid at room temperature with a slight fatty odor. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform and other organic solvents. Relative density (20°C) about 0.86, boiling point about 360°C (decomposes), flash point (open cup) about 210°C, pour point below -10°C.
Uses:Mainly used as a cold-resistant plasticizer for PVC and other resins, significantly improving the low-temperature flexibility of products. Suitable for cold-resistant wire and cable compounds, artificial leather, films, sheets and plates. Also used as a low-temperature plasticizer for various synthetic rubbers, as well as an oily raw material in cosmetics, fiber lubricant, oil additive and synthetic lubricant for jet engines.
