Uses:Pirimiphos-ethyl is an organophosphate insecticide with contact, stomach and fumigant action. It is used to control aphids, thrips, leafhoppers, planthoppers and other pests on rice, wheat, vegetables and fruit trees, and is also applied in stored grain and seed treatment. Its mechanism of action is inhibition of acetylcholinesterase, which interferes with the nervous system of pests.
