Physical Properties:Red-to-purple solid. Soluble in DMSO, DMF and other organic solvents; slightly soluble in water. The NHS ester group hydrolyzes readily in aqueous environments, so moisture should be avoided. Exhibits high fluorescence quantum yield and good photostability.
Uses:Used for labeling biomolecules containing primary amines, such as proteins, antibodies, peptides, and nucleic acids. As a red fluorescent probe, it is widely applied in fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence detection in biomedical research.
