Uses:Mainly used as a binder in tablet dry or wet granulation, as well as a film coating material, film-forming agent and thickener. In cosmetics, it is used in styling products such as hair sprays and mousses to form a transparent, water-washable film. Also used as an adhesive and film-forming aid in textiles and inks.
