Physical Properties:At room temperature, its appearance varies with concentration, ranging from colorless to light yellow liquid or white to light yellow paste. Melting point is about 59°C. It is readily soluble in water and polar organic solvents. It exhibits cationic character under acidic conditions (pH<7) and nonionic character under alkaline conditions (pH>7). It shows good compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants.
Uses:Widely used in personal care and daily chemical products such as shampoo, shower gel, facial cleanser, skin care products, and shaving preparations as foaming agent, foam stabilizer, thickener, conditioner, and antistatic agent. Also used in household and industrial cleaning products including dishwashing detergents, bathroom cleaners, and building exterior wall cleaners, providing thickening, irritation reduction, and synergistic effects. Compared with traditional 6501, it features lower dosage, better solubility, and stronger wetting performance.
