Uses:Used as an organic synthesis intermediate, widely applied in the preparation of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and fine chemicals. As a reagent for introducing N-protecting groups, it is employed in the synthesis of N,N-dibenzylethylenediamine and its derivatives, as well as for preparing active compounds containing chloroacetyl groups.
