Physical Properties:Colorless to light yellow transparent viscous liquid, odorless or slightly odorous. Density approx. 1.00–1.05 g/cm³ (25°C), flash point (open cup) >200°C, viscosity increases with molecular weight. Readily soluble in alcohols, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and other organic solvents; low molecular weight grades are partially soluble in water.

Uses:Mainly used as a raw material for polyurethane flexible foams, elastomers, coatings and adhesives; as a soft segment polyol, it imparts good flexibility and low-temperature resistance to the products. It is also used as an intermediate for surfactants, plasticizers and defoamers.
