Uses:Octenylsuccinic anhydride (OSA) can be used as a starch modifier, reacting with starch to produce octenylsuccinic starch esters, improving hydrophobicity and emulsion stability. It is widely used in food emulsifiers, stabilizers, thickeners, encapsulating agents, and paper coating. It can also serve as a curing agent for epoxy resins, providing good toughness, moisture resistance, and electrical insulation properties.
